mcsame's minions are just as competent as shrub's. Josh Marshall nails it.
At first I thought, No, that's ridiculous. This is a major political party with big time professionals putting this together. Nothing is left to chance. I mean, is this the RNC or a scene out Spinal Tap or Waiting for Guffman? I still have a bit of a hard time believing they're quite that incompetent.

Palin might not be liar but she does have a bridge to sell you. In case you hadn't figured it out, I spent most of the speech yelling at the liar on the teevee, pissing HC off. It was a purely visceral reaction I literally could not stop from yelling at the dog whistles and bullshit. At one point I had to leave the room and listen to the juke box.(Yes, they had it on at the 7eo.)

I wept along with you in celebration of the basic humanity of this warm and engaging lady from the North.
I guess after eight years of Cheney/Bush basic humanity is celebratable quality in a GOPer. But if basic humanity brings you to tears how do you get through day without crying all the time? Given that basic humanity can be seen on any street corner.... But I guess that would be too cosmopolitan.
